Spanish public university in Zaragoza, Aragón, founded in 1542, with further campuses at Huesca, Teruel and La Almunia. Its Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Science teaches the pharmacy, human nutrition and dietetics and food science degrees with departments of pharmacy and pharmaceutical technology, pharmacology, food and nutrition and analytical chemistry, and the university also runs faculties of medicine and veterinary medicine with its own veterinary hospital, the Aragón Institute of Health Sciences and the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials, carrying out research in drug delivery and nanomedicine, food safety and veterinary medicines.
