French university at Lille that taught law and health subjects until the 2018 merger, with a faculty of pharmacy at the Cité Scientifique and faculties of medicine and dentistry working with the Lille university hospital. Its pharmacy faculty taught the state pharmacy degree and ran laboratories in medicinal chemistry, galenics, pharmacognosy and toxicology, and that teaching and research continue within the combined Université de Lille.
