WCLC 2026 to Host Global Lung Cancer Drug Competition in Seoul

The 2026 World Lung Cancer Congress (WCLC 2026) will take place at COEX in Seoul from December 12 to 15. This marks the first time the conference is hosted in South Korea since the 12th WCLC in 2007, a gap of 19 years. The event is expected to attract more than 7,000 experts from over 100 countries, featuring around 130 sessions and workshops and presenting approximately 2,300 abstracts. The conference theme is “Science Without Boundaries: United against thoracic cancer,” underscoring the global competition among pharmaceutical and biotech companies to launch new lung‑cancer drugs.
