Olympus has identified that the BiCOAG Hemostasis Probe may have been manufactured without the required amount of adhesive on the rear of the device’s ceramic tip. This defect could cause the ceramic tip to detach during use.
Customers are instructed to stop using the affected probes immediately and contact Olympus for return instructions.
