A dedicated pharmaceutical researcher from Himachal Pradesh, India, Akshay Thakur, has completed his M.Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from CT University, where he was honoured with three consecutive Academic Excellence Awards and awarded the Gold Medal for securing the top position in the Master’s program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. His academic journey began with a B.Pharmacy degree from Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Currently, Akshay serves as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at CT University. His research interests focus on the in silico design of heteromolecules, the synthesis of novel compounds, and their evaluation through in vivo studies, particularly using zebrafish models. He has significant expertise in molecular docking, animal handling, and the application of advanced techniques in drug discovery. With a proven track record of publishing 10+ articles in reputable journals, Akshay has also actively participated in several conferences and workshops on nanotechnology, HPLC techniques, and artificial intelligence in drug discovery. His technical proficiency spans across tools such as BioRender, Any-maze, GraphPad Prism, and UV–Visible spectrophotometry. Akshay is deeply passionate about innovation and translational research, aiming to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences, drug design, drug discovery, and precision medicine.
