Mr. Pushpendu Gaurav is currently serving as Assistant Manager – Research & Development (R&D) at Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited (A Government of India Enterprise), Bengaluru. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (U.P.) ,Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) from Dr. Harisingh Gour University (A Central University), Sagar (M.P.) and Advanced Diploma in Drug Regulatory Affairs (ADDRA) from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi and presently pursuing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, along with an MBA in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology from Mysore University, Mysuru. His academic accomplishments include qualifying in prestigious national-level examinations such as GATE–Pharmaceutical Sciences (GPAT) in 2011, 2013, and 2015 and NIPER-JEE 2013. With over 11 years of professional experience in Research and Development, Mr. Gaurav has been associated with Macleods Pharmaceuticals Limited R&D Centre, Mumbai, and Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited, Bengaluru. He has authored seven research papers on analytical method development published in international journals, holds two patents, and has written four books for pharmacy students. In addition, he actively contributes as a subject matter expert and peer reviewer for reputed international journals in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and analytical method development. He is committed to maintaining research integrity by critically evaluating manuscripts for scientific rigor, innovation, and relevance, thereby supporting the advancement of high-quality academic publications. Mr. Gaurav’s core expertise includes analytical method development and validation for a wide range of pharmaceutical dosage forms and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). His professional contributions significantly support and strengthen the research and development landscape of the pharmaceutical sector, ultimately benefiting both patients and healthcare providers.
