자기소개

I am a molecular and structural biologist by training. After receiving my Ph.D. in 2018 from the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, India, I joined Prof. Ruth Brenk at the University of Bergen, Norway. Here, my research focuses on evaluating the pharmacological potential of regulatory RNA elements of bacterial mRNA. For the last five years, I have focused on addressing the unmet need of developing RNA-focused assays for high-throughput compound screening and fragment-based lead discovery approaches. Due to the overreaching implications of pharmacologically targeting RNA in expanding the existing tiny "druggable landscape", my research has a substantial impact on enhancing RNA-focused drug discovery campaigns against challenging pathological and infectious diseases. My research uses bacterial riboswitches- mainly FMN, SAM-I and TPP -riboswitches as a model RNA targets
