Allene (C3H4, CAS 463-49-0) is a pharmaceutical-grade liquefied gas manufactured directly by Shanghai Wechem Technology Limited, supplied at 98.5% purity with limited 1-propyne and propylene impurities, classified as a DOT 2.1 combustible gas (UN 2200). The simplest 1,2-diene compound, it is more reactive than its isomer methyl acetylene and is mainly used as a building block in organic synthesis, distributed across North and South America, Europe, Australasia, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
