Cabergoline

Cabergoline (CAS 81409-90-7) is manufactured by Beijing Global Biologicals Co., Ltd. to pharmaceutical grade under ChP, USP, and EP standards. A potent, selective, long-acting dopamine D2 receptor agonist first launched in Belgium in 1993 as a prolactin inhibitor, a single 1 mg dose effectively suppresses postpartum lactation for up to 14 days — notably longer-acting than drugs requiring daily dosing — with a low rate of rebound breast activity and good tolerability; it has also been studied clinically for Parkinson's disease, breast cancer, and hyperprolactinaemia. It is sold into the Asian market.
