Clarithromycinycin

Clarithromycin (CAS 81103-11-9), also known as 6-O-methylerythromycin, is a macrolide antibiotic derived from erythromycin with a broad antibacterial spectrum. It is used against bacterial infections including lower respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, upper respiratory tract infections such as pharyngitis and sinusitis, skin and soft tissue infections, and — in combination regimens — Helicobacter pylori eradication.
