Product Owner

Ana Freire holds a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro since 2020. Her dissertation focused on the "Application of the NAO Robot to the Development of Social and Cognitive Skills." She is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, focusing her research on applied solutions for the healthcare sector. Since 2020, she has been collaborating with ByMe, a leading company in intelligent solutions for managing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. She began her career as a Project Manager, overseeing the implementation of ByMe's solution in some of the largest hospital centers in Portugal. Currently, she works as a Product Owner, managing the entire product lifecycle and leading the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) team. Since 2024, she has been serving as the coordinator of the founding committee of the newly established Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering College at the Ordem dos Engenheiros, a milestone that reflects her commitment to promoting and advancing Biomedical Engineering.
