Bhaskarjyoti Borah hails from Gohpur, Assam, India. He obtained his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Gauhati university, in 2018, followed by an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Rajiv Gandhi University in 2020. In2022, he began his doctoral studies in the Department of Chemistry at rajiv Gandhi University under the supervision of Dr. Bharat Kumar Allam. His research interests include photoredox cross-coupling reactions, and medicinal chemistry.His Ph.D. work is focused on developing photoredox-catalyzed strategies for carbon-carbon and carbon-hetero atom bond formation, with a special emphasis on synthesizing bioactive sulfur-containing molecules with potential therapeutic applications in drug discovery.
