Director of Research & Quality Development

Colin Brown has worked for 34 years in the pharmaceutical & consumer healthcare industries. As a chemist, he has held several positions in the pharmaceutical development, clinical trials supplies and research & development of medicinal products across a range of therapeutic areas and pharmaceutical forms. Having begun his career at Syntex Pharmaceuticals before moving to Quintiles, a Contract Research Organisation in Edinburgh, he is currently Director of Research & Quality Development at Mentholatum’s European headquarters in Scotland where he is responsible for the R&D, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance and quality of the company’s activities in Europe, Middle East & Africa. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a Chartered Chemist and a Chartered Scientist.
