Senior Research Fellow

Dr. Avadh Biharee is an accomplished researcher with a strong foundation in medicinal chemistry and a passion for drug discovery. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, in March 2025. He obtained his Master of Pharmacy degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the same institution in 2020, supported by an AICTE-GPAT fellowship. Dr. Biharee has honed his skills in in silico drug designing, synthesis, and biological evaluation of novel molecules for therapeutic applications. His academic journey has been marked by consistent achievements, including qualifying for the GPAT twice, securing a position as an RRB-Pharmacist, and being awarded the prestigious ICMR-SRF. He served as an assistant professor at PRPS College of Pharmacy, Puranpur, U.P., for one academic year. His research experience, spanning over five years, has focused on developing new drug candidates for diabetes mellitus and its associated complications. His research findings, published in high-impact SCI-indexed journals, demonstrate his ability to conduct cutting-edge research and contribute to scientific advancements. Additionally, his authored book chapters and patents showcase his expertise and potential for intellectual property development. His Ph.D. research at the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, was funded by the ICMR, further enhancing his understanding of medicinal chemistry and contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for diabetes mellitus.
