He received both the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy. His research interests include electroencephalography (EEG), neuroergonomics, mental workload assessment, brain-computer interfaces, biomedical signal processing, machine learning, and human-computer interaction. His current research focuses on EEG-based mental workload decoding using spectral features and event-related potentials, with particular emphasis on robust cross-subject generalization and real-world passive brain-computer interface applications. His long-term research interests include intelligent neurotechnologies, adaptive human-machine interaction, cognitive monitoring, and AI-driven biomedical systems for healthcare.
