I am Goodness Daniel Ekanem, a graduate of Zoology and Environmental Biology with a strong interest in environmental toxicology, parasitology, and zoonotic diseases. My academic work focuses on understanding the interactions between environmental pollutants, animal health, and human health, with the goal of contributing to evidence-based solutions for public health and environmental conservation. My research interests include environmental pollution, aquatic toxicology, petroleum hydrocarbon contamination, zoonotic parasites, epidemiology, One Health, and disease surveillance. I am particularly interested in investigating the impact of environmental contaminants on aquatic organisms and their implications for ecosystem and human health. Beyond research, I am passionate about scientific writing and applying technology to solve real-world problems. I am also developing skills in Python programming and Django web development to integrate digital solutions into research, education, and public health initiatives.
