Jeffrey Yang, PharmD, PhD, earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (Highest Honors, 2017) and PhD in Medicinal Chemistry (2022) from Rutgers University. His doctoral research under Professor Longqin Hu focused on designing and evaluating small-molecule PD-1/PD-L1 immunomodulators as orally bioavailable preclinical candidates for cancer, funded by a NJCCR predoctoral fellowship. He is an active researcher in antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) discovery, including payload and linker-payload design, site-specific bioconjugation, and multi-payload ADC development, with experience leading integrated biological, pharmacological (PK/PD), and toxicological studies to enable candidate selection and optimization. He has served as a peer reviewer for Medicinal Chemistry Research and the European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry.
