Clinical Staff Pharmacist

As a Hospital pharmacist, I have extensive and versatile clinical and operational experience in Ambulatory, In-patient, IV Admixture, and clinical pharmacy capacity. I am currently serving as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Over the length of my career, I had the opportunity to work in Oncology, Pediatrics, Neonates, General Med/Surgical, cardiology, Step-down Cardiology, Medical and Surgical Critical Care, Internal Medicine and OB/GYN. participating in daily multidisciplinary clinical rounds at Oncology, ICU, PICU and NICU,. Additionally, I have served as a stewardship infectious disease pharmacist at johns Hopkins Aramco healthcare responsible for the implementation of Intravenous to oral, and renal dosing program as part of ASP program, ambulatory clinical pharmacy services as a member of pharmaceutical care clinic, medication management clinic and heart failure clinic where I interviewed patients, reviewed medication profile, assessed their medication related issues and made appropriate recommendation. My strengths as pharmacist include, but not limited to, pharmacokinetic monitoring, TPN dosing, medication dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacotherapy recommendation and monitoring, clinical rounds, teaching and community education. But I would say that the most important strength is the ability to work under pressure, high level of productivity, rapid adaptation with automation and technology, my communication skills with patients, other health care professionals and my peers.
