Dr. Yousif S. Subsequently, He completed his post-graduate clinical pharmacy residency training at Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School joint program, Boston, MA, USA.
Following his joining the KAMC, He has completed many certificate programs and workshops in advanced academic leadership, clinical teaching, drug use evaluation, and thrombosis and anticoagulation management. Dr. Alakeel has been a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist since 2009, and an active member of many professional national and international organizations.
Dr. Alakeel is actively participating in teaching, clinical training, and research. His principal interests focused on drug therapy related to pediatric cardiology, anticoagulation/ thromboembolism, and management of pulmonary hypertension. He has authored and co-authored many peer-reviewed publications and has delivered numerous invited professional presentations.
