I am a Ph.D. Candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at the College of Pharmacy, Purdue University, where I conduct mixed-methods research on the impact of CDC guidelines on opioid prescribing for cancer pain management. My research interests include health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), real-world evidence (RWE), and patient-reported outcomes (PROs). Before joining Purdue, I worked as a Technical Officer (Pharmacovigilance) at the World Health Organization in Pakistan, where I provided technical support for strategic preparedness and response to COVID-19, pharmacovigilance, vaccine safety monitoring, and adverse event reporting. I also have corporate experience as a Business Development Manager for Sinopharm International, a Fortune 500 company, where I managed diverse public health projects in collaboration with leading organizations. Additionally, I have contributed to public health initiatives in partnership with the United States Pharmacopeia in Pakistan. As a pharmacy professional, I have a strong background in retail pharmacy, pharmaceutical policy, and health outcomes.
