I am a licensed Assistant Pharmacist with over 11 years of professional experience in pharmacy. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Business Management. I am currently working as a specialist with higher education at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering, in the section of QSAR and Mathematical Modeling. My scientific interests are focused on the interdisciplinary fields between pharmacy, chemistry, and biomedical engineering. The main research areas I am involved in include: QSPR/QSAR modeling and prediction of properties of bioactive compounds; Solid-phase synthesis and characterization of peptides and metal-peptide complexes, including their solubility and biological activity; Pharmaceutical business and innovation management in healthcare; Biomedical technologies and their application in diagnostics, therapy, and development of new pharmaceutical products; Prototyping using 3D scanning and printing for biomedical purposes; Public health and the interface between the pharmaceutical sector and healthcare policy. I am highly interested in science communication, innovation, and technology transfer in the field of healthcare.
