Bio

I am a Biomedical Scientist and postgraduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Immunopathology, with a strong research interest in infectious diseases, maternal health, and laboratory quality systems. My academic and professional work is focused on generating localized evidence to inform public health interventions in Zambia. I currently serve as the Provincial Biosafety and Biosecurity Focal Point Person for Central Province and act as a Trainer of Trainers in biosafety, biosecurity, and quality management systems (QMS), with specialization in ISO 15189:2022 implementation. My research experience includes retrospective cohort studies on HIV viral load suppression, tenofovir-associated adverse effects, and trichomoniasis-related pregnancy outcomes. I also coordinate biosafety programs supporting diagnostic services and laboratory systems strengthening. I am committed to advancing public health through rigorous research, capacity building, and the application of international laboratory standards in resource-constrained settings.
