I am a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician working within the NHS in the United Kingdom, with a background as a registered pharmacist in India and a Master's degree in pharmacology from the United Kingdom. I am currently undertaking a Master's degree in Clinical Research after being selected through the NIHR INSIGHT programme, which support the early clinical academic careers and progression towards clinical research training. My academic interests include medicines optimisation, patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice. Professionally, I have experience in medicines reconciliation, clinical audit, and supporting multidisciplinary teams in delivering safe and effective patient care. I am registered Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician and have a strong interest in research methodology, healthcare quality improvement, and the implementation of clinical guidelines into practice.
