Dr. Chou is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at the Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist. She provides direct patient care in outpatient psychiatry through a collaborative practice agreement model, including psychiatric medication management, group facilitation, and interdisciplinary consultation. Her clinical expertise includes long-acting injectable antipsychotic management and intranasal esketamine treatment, with practice interests spanning bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, diabetes, and neurologic disorders. Her research interests include psychiatry, diabetes, and cardiology, with a focus on advancing psychiatric pharmacy practice, optimizing outcomes through pharmacist-led interventions, and expanding access to evidence-based care.
