Bio

Biomedical Scientist and Direct PhD candidate in Immunology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences IV (ICB-IV), University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. My research focuses on Cellular and Molecular Immunology, particularly host–pathogen interactions in infectious diseases, including tuberculosis and leishmaniasis. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted in vitro and in silico research on the leishmanicidal and immunomodulatory activity of natural compounds, funded by the Bahia State Research Support Foundation (FAPESB). I have experience in molecular biology techniques (PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR), ELISA, flow cytometry, cell and bacterial cultures, animal experimentation using transgenic models, and molecular docking analyses. I am also actively involved in scientific outreach and academic leadership activities in Immunology.
