My scientific career is mainly dedicated to the research and development of pharmaceutical active ingredients obtained by organic synthesis, to the design of sustainable pharmaceutical processes, and to the determination and rationalisation of mechano-chemical mechanisms. I am interested in theoretical chemistry, as well as scaling-up of active ingredients and frugal efficient sustainable industrial processes for fine chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences.
