Starting as an undergraduate student, I have worked with a diverse set of faculty members to carry out research in the domains of pharmacology and pharmacy practice. Currently, my key areas of study include 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬, and 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞. In the domain of drug discovery, I'm exploring Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) therapies, including CAR-T, CAR-NK, and others, in the treatment of various cancers. I'm also getting versed in "𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐬," such as network pharmacology, molecular docking, MDS, and DFT, to screen phytochemicals from traditional plants against various cancers (e.g., breast cancer). In addition, I am working on projects related to 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 and studying their 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. Moreover, in our lab, we work on various 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (e.g., post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, psoriasis, etc) and related therapies. Though not as active as I used to be, I am still engaged in research on Pharmacy Practice, particularly in the context of Pakistan. Pharmacy practice in Pakistan is still lacking, and I wish to contribute as meaningfully as possible.
