Bio

I have pursued my PhD, specializing in the "IoT-based AI Microfluidic Biochip System for Infectious Diseases." In my research, I aim to integrate the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud-based technologies to revolutionize lab-on-a-chip (LOC) based point-of-care (POC) clinical diagnosis. By leveraging the power of AI algorithms and cloud connectivity, I seek to streamline and automate the analysis of biological samples, enabling rapid and accurate diagnosis at the point of care by seamlessly integrating lab-on-a-chip microfluidic platforms with intelligent solutions. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of researchers and experts in bioengineering, nanotechnology, and computer science, I contribute to designing and optimizing microfluidic chips. Additionally, I develop intelligent algorithms for data analysis and utilize cloud-based platforms for real-time monitoring and remote access to diagnostic results. Through my research endeavors, I aspire to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technologies and practical healthcare applications. By integrating software, AI, and microfluidics, I aim to empower healthcare professionals with fast, accurate, and accessible diagnostic tools that can significantly improve patient outcomes and contribute to saving lives. I am passionate about the potential impact of my research and remain excited about exploring the possibilities of AI and cloud-based technologies in the field of lab-on-a-chip diagnostics. By advancing medical diagnostics, my ultimate goal is to contribute to enhancing healthcare and making a positive difference in the lives of people. In my previous postdoc, I held the role of principal investigator at KwangWoon University, where I lead a government-funded project within my domain of expertise. My responsibilities encompass supervising the project, guiding students, conducting my own research, and contributing valuable insights through published articles in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. Currently, I'm working as a postdoctoral researcher at the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). My work involves scientific software development for the Engineering Material Diffractometer, designing algorithms and automated workflows to process neutron diffraction data for advanced materials analysis, with a focus on polymers and polycrystalline systems for engineering materials and semiconductor applications. During my postdoc in China, I've also been a visiting researcher at the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum (MLZ) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, where I contribute to software optimization for a joint CSNS-TUM multidisciplinary project.
