Dr. Naglaa Bazan is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy, King Khalid University (Saudi Arabia), and a Consultant and Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at Cairo University Hospitals (Egypt). She is the founder and former head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at Cairo University Hospitals and previously served as the Head of Clinical Pharmacy at the Critical Care Medicine Department. Dr. Bazan completed her BSc, MSc, and PhD at Cairo University and holds a postgraduate diploma in Total Quality Management for Health Care Reform from the American University in Cairo. She has served as a part-time faculty member at several Egyptian institutions, including the College of Pharmacy at Cairo University, Helwan University, and Future University in Egypt. She is an active member of several national professional councils, including the Scientific Council of the Egyptian Clinical Pharmacy Fellowship Program, the Egyptian College of Critical Care Physicians, and the Scientific Council of Pharmacy at the General Organization for Teaching Hospitals and Institutes. Internationally, she is an Associate Member of the Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacists (USA). With expertise spanning community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and critical care practice, Dr. Bazan is a frequent invited speaker at national and international scientific conferences. She has authored and co-authored numerous publications in the fields of pharmacogenetics, pharmacoeconomics, infectious diseases, critical care medicine, clinical pharmacy services, and personalized medicine.
