I am a pharmacist from Iraq with experience in both hospital and community pharmacy practice. I worked for one year and six months at Al-Zahrawi Surgical Hospital, where I gained valuable experience in pharmaceutical care, medication management, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Afterward, as part of the pharmacists’ training program, I worked at Kumait Primary Health Care Center for one year and one month. This role enhanced my skills in patient counseling, medication dispensing, primary healthcare services, and public health support. Through my work in these healthcare institutions, I have acquired practical experience in pharmaceutical services, patient care, and multidisciplinary teamwork. In addition, I currently work in a private pharmacy, which has further strengthened my knowledge and skills in community pharmacy practice and direct patient care. I also serve as a pharmacist counselor for hypertension patients, providing education and support to improve treatment adherence and disease management. Furthermore, I participate as an associate member in the Pharmacovigilance Program, contributing to medication safety activities and the monitoring and reporting of adverse drug reactions. My professional interests include clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical care, patient education, pharmacovigilance, and continuous professional development.
