Shubham Nilkanth Rahmatkar is a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Pharmacology and Toxicology Laboratory in CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, India. He completed his master’s degree in Pharmacology from S.K.B. College of Pharmacy, Maharashtra, India in 2018. In his Master’s degree, he has explored the role of hippocampal agmatine in β amyloid 1–42 induced memory impairment, neuroinflammation and BDNF signalling disruption in mice. He is awarded GATE Fellowship by CSIR, India. He is pursuing his PhD from AcSIR, CSIR-IHBT in the area of Pharmacology. He is currently working on the role of natural products in cognitive dysfunction.
