Tarilate Temedie-Asogwa is currently a PhD student and Teaching assistant in the Department of Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy, University of Houston, Houston, Texas, USA. Prior to joining the university of Houston, she has been a clinical pharmacist with over 10 years of practice experience. She’s spent the more than eight years working with the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Rivers State, Nigeria where she functioned as a caregiver, preceptor & mentor. She's very passionate about advancing clinical pharmacy practice in Nigeria and has through her research provided several recommendations to improve current practices and treatment outcomes. She left the hospital for her dream job as lecturer in the Clinical pharmacy department of University of Port Harcourt where she lectured, trained, and inspired undergraduate pharmacy students.
