Yanbin Zhao is a Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received his B.S. from Northwest A&F University and his Ph.D. from Peking University. He serves as an editorial board member of Eco-Environment & Health and ACS ES&T Water, and as a member of the Professional Committee of Birth Defect Prevention and Control of the Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society. His research focuses on the environmental behavior and health effects of emerging contaminants, integrating molecular biology, analytical chemistry, bioinformatics, and artificial intelligence to investigate toxicity mechanisms and environmental health risks. He has led multiple research projects, including those supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key Research and Development Program of China, and has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers in environmental science and environmental health journals.
