Bio

Dr Jackie Pon obtained her PhD in Cancer Biology under the supervision of Prof. Alice S.T. Wong from the University of Hong Kong and has several years of working experiences in the clinical laboratories. She is a registered medical laboratory technologist, certified by The Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologist Board and a fellowship member in the Institute of Biomedical Science (UK). Having joined the Department of Biomedical Sciences at City University of Hong Kong in 2015, Jackie worked as a scientific officer / medical lab director to establish the biomedical science teaching labs for the core clinical specialties, as well as coordinate the clinical attachment program at local/overseas hospitals and medical laboratories for BMS students. She then took on a new position as Assistant Professor in 2022 for additional teaching roles and UG Final Year Project supervisions. Publications: 1.
