1,2-Benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one（BIT-10,20）

1,2-Benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, marketed as BIT-10/20 (CAS 2634-33-5), is a broad-spectrum biocide supplied as an amber liquid with 10% or 20% active substance content, a pH of 9-13 and density of 1.10-1.20 g/mL, packaged in 1,000kg IBC drums or 200kg drums. It is used across water-based polymer, leather, paint, textile, printing and dyeing, metal cutting fluid, adhesive, ink and dye industries for corrosion and microbial control, and is noted for broad-spectrum, long-lasting antibacterial activity, good compatibility with emulsifiers and surfactants, heat resistance up to 150°C, and low toxicity with no heavy metals, halogens or formaldehyde.
