AMIDOPYRINE

This amidopyrine (aminopyrine/pyramidon, CAS 58-15-1, molecular formula C13H17N3O) is produced to pharmaceutical grade under ChP and Ph. Int. standards and supplied, rather than manufactured, by Ningbo Pangs Chem Co., Ltd., with samples available. Once widely used in the early-to-mid 20th century as an analgesic and antipyretic, it was withdrawn from most markets due to the risk of agranulocytosis and is now largely restricted to toxicology research and biochemical studies; it is distributed to markets across North America, Europe, Australasia, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
