Additional Description:
Chymotrypsinogen (CAS 9035-75-0), the inactive precursor of chymotrypsin sourced from bovine or porcine pancreas, has a molecular mass of about 24,000 and an optimum pH of 8-9, remaining stable in dry form but most stable in aqueous solution at pH 3-4. Beijing Geyuantianrun Bio-Tech purifies it by recrystallization, ion exchange chromatography and ultrafiltration to high purity, and it is used clinically in wound-healing, anti-inflammatory and cataract-surgery applications as well as in veterinary medicine. It meets Chinese Pharmacopoeia, USP, BP, EP and JP standards, and is offered in food, pharmaceutical, injection and veterinary grades, sold across North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Australasia, Asia and the Middle East.
