Compound Amino Acid Injection (15AA) is a parenteral nutrition formulation manufactured directly by Cisen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to Chinese Pharmacopoeia (ChP) standards, supplied as 100 ml (8 g total amino acids) and 250 ml (20 g total amino acids) presentations. It is used for patients with insufficient protein intake or absorption disorders whose amino acid needs cannot otherwise be met, but is contraindicated in severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, hepatic coma, and amino acid metabolic disorders.
