The Compensator absorbs the mechanical forces generated when a Passive unit is docked into an Active unit using handling equipment such as column hoists, forces that could otherwise damage the connected valve or equipment. Product is contained within a central EPDM sleeve, with a spring arrangement that keeps the Active correctly balanced for docking.
