Iohexol Injection USP is an X-ray contrast medium used in adults and children for cardioangiography, arteriography, urography, phlebography and CT enhancement, as well as lumbar, thoracic and cervical myelography and CT of the basal cisterns following subarachnoid injection. It is also indicated for arthrography, ERP, ERCP, herniography, hysterosalpingography, sialography and gastrointestinal studies where barium sulfate is unsuitable, undesirable or contraindicated.
