Established in 1999 as an international trading agency, Shanghai Triowin Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd (e.triowin.com) evolved through an assembly-supporting phase (2002-2005) into independent brand manufacturing of fermentation and bioprocessing equipment. Its product range includes fermentation systems at experimental, pilot and multistage/large scale, alcohol recovery tower systems, resin chromatography equipment, CIP cleaning systems, continuous culture-medium disinfection systems, multi-effect and single/double-effect concentrators and evaporators, tubular sterilizers, spray drying equipment, and tank extraction and separation/filtration systems. The company holds 227 authorized patents and software copyrights (including 22 and 34 invention patents in two categories) and has participated in drafting 10 national and industry standards; it has also developed intelligent robotics such as code-stamping, pick-up, picking and stacking robots and AGVs, earning national key new product and Shanghai Science and Technology Progress awards. Shanghai Electric took a strategic investment stake in 2014, listing the company on the New Third Board, and it acquired Italy's BRB company and Taiwan's Shangshen Machinery Industry in 2018. The company emphasizes brand strength and international certification, selling across North and South America, Western and Eastern Europe, Australasia, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
