Full Professor of Pharmacology

I hold MSc and PhD degrees in Pharmacology from Abia State University, a DLitt et Phil in Health Studies from the University of South Africa, and a Fellowship in Health Professions Education from the Southern Africa FAIMER Regional Institute. Additionally, I have qualifications in Public Health and Medical Laboratory Sciences. My professional journey includes roles as an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Zambia, Associate Professor of Pharmacology & Associate Dean for Research at the College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences, Fiji National University, Suva, Fiji. I was a Full Professor and Interim Dean at Mulungushi University, Zambia. Now I s I have been recognized with several awards from learned societies worldwide, including the Chartered Scientist (CSci) award from the Science Council UK, Chartered Biologist (CBiol) award from the Society of Biology UK, Chartered Chemist (CChem) from Australia, and Fellowship of the African Scientific Institute, USA. My competencies encompass bioanalysis, research development and supervision, and health professions education. My research interests are in basic and clinical pharmacology, clinical biochemistry, and health professions education. I have published over 45 refereed articles. On the personal front, I am married with children.
