Professor

Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, with an academic career beginning in 1997. Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sport (1997), Master’s degree in Sport Performance (1998), Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology (2006), and postdoctoral studies in Advanced Scientific Research (2015). Also serves as Professor within the Doctoral School of the National University of Physical Education and Sport, Bucharest, as a member of doctoral examination committees and academic promotion panels. Has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, authored 25 books, presented over 70 scientific papers at international academic venues, and coordinates a book series at an A1-rated academic publishing house. Member of several scientific and editorial boards and recognized as a top peer reviewer for multiple international journals. Research interests focus on sports science, physical education, and human performance. Member of several international organizations and serves on multiple academic councils, including the Faculty Council and the University Department’s governing body. Fluent in English and conversant in German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Serbian - appliees strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills in academic and athletic contexts.
