Senior lecturer

I graduated in Medicine, with PhD in Haematology and in Clinical Oncology. After a few years at the Haematology clinic of the University of Rome, I moved to Milano, and I started my career as Pharmaceutical Physician in 1975. In about 50 years of work in Medicines Development, I had top level positions in big pharmaceutical companies (Lepetit, Roche), in biotech companies (Novuspharma, Creabilis) and in CRO (ICON). In 2008 I was a co-founder of Genovax, a biotech company whose mission was to discover and to develop therapeutic vaccines for chronic diseases. I am Past President of SIMeF (the Italian Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine) and Past President of IFAPP (the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine). I devote most of my time to educational programs in Pharmaceutical Medicine, teaching at several master courses in drug development at Italian Universities, and at the online course implemented by the GMDP Academy. I was also appointed as visiting professor at the King’s College of London. I am author of about 80 papers related to clinical trials methodology and education in Pharmaceutical Medicine, and about 70 abstracts presented at Conference lectures.
