Associate Professor

Dr. Rohit Kumar is an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy, Ibrahimpatnam, Sheriguda, R.R. District, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from the Bharat Institute of Pharmacy, affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). With over ten years of academic experience, Dr. Kumar has been actively involved in teaching and mentoring students across Pharm D, Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate), M. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, and D. Pharmacy programs. His areas of specialization include Medication Therapy Management, Patient Counseling, Drug Information Services, Medication Reconciliation, Pharmacovigilance, Health Screening Programs, and Community Outreach. At the research level, he has supervised numerous student projects and has contributed to the advancement of pharmacy practice through his scholarly work. Dr. Kumar is the inventor of five patents, including two design patents, and has published several articles in reputed national and international journals.
