Eman Elayeh is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Jordan, where she has been teaching since 2011. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy (2010) from the University of Jordan and is currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the same institution. Her doctoral research, titled "Integrated Proteomics and Metabolomics to Identify Potential Biomarkers for Predicting Micro-metastasis and Therapeutic Response to Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors (ICI) in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Patients," focuses on innovative strategies for improving cancer diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
Eman's research interests include the development of pharmaceutical care and education in Jordan, rational drug use, self-medication practices, and the identification of management gaps in the treatment of chronic diseases. Her commitment to advancing pharmacy practice is reflected in her broad teaching portfolio. She has delivered theoretical courses such as Pharmacy Practice I & II, Para-Pharmaceuticals, and Over-the-Counter (OTC) Drugs. In addition, she has supervised diverse practical and clinical training experiences, including Pharmacy Field Training, Pediatric and Surgery Clerkships, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, Ambulatory Care, and Case Studies in Pharmacokinetics.
Eman is a passionate educator and an expert in biostatistics and data analysis using SPSS. She has coordinated and participated in numerous workshops aimed at equipping both undergraduate and graduate students—from the University of Jordan’s Faculties of Pharmacy and Medicine, as well as external organizations—with essential skills in using online drug information resources and conducting biomedical data analysis.
