Scientific consulting in early drug discovery and development based on more than 25 years of experience as project leader/team member in early pharma drug discovery projects: • Initiation of and participation in drug discovery projects • Lead identification & evaluation (assay development, uHTS, specificity & selectivity profiling). • Lead optimisation (pharmacological dose response and mode of action studies). • Off-Target profiling (GPCR-Panel) Some 10 years of experience as project leader in positions coordinating strategic projects involving multidisciplinary and multicultural, international teams. • Management of Nuclear Receptor and GPCR Focusgroups (Coordination of global target-related technological activities). • Full responsibility for the realisation and implementation of a state of the art High Content Screening platform (including the management of EU and German government grants supporting these activities). Research focus: cellular signalling processes in malignant and non-malignant tumours (various oncology disease areas; endometriosis, uterine fibroids). Female and male reproductive biology. Safety officer: Genetic engineering & Biosafety - Ensuring the screening departments safety, legal and regulatory compliance with regard to all recombinant DNA technologies based projects and projects dealing with the use of primary cells (GenTG: Safety Level 1; Biosafety: Safety Level 2)
