Assistant Professor

Dr. Jahangir Khan is currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management, SMBS, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Healthcare Management from the School of Management & Business Studies, Jamia Hamdard. His academic background includes a B.Pharmacy and MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, along with qualifying for the UGC-NET in Management. Dr. Khan has over five years of industry experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing with Pfizer India. Moreover, he has about 4 years of experience in the US healthcare RCM cycle that includes medical coding and medical authorization. His research interests are public health management, treatment adherence in mental health, pharmaceutical marketing, and healthcare systems in aspirational districts. He is also skilled in SPSS and NVivo for data analysis and has contributed to both teaching and research in healthcare management. In addition to his industry experience, Dr. Khan has served as a guest faculty member at various reputed institutions. He is committed to advancing knowledge in healthcare management and supporting evidence-based practices in public health.
