Professional Summary
I am a PhD candidate in Physiology and Pharmacology at the Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), working with the zQ175 mouse model of Huntington’s disease. My research focuses on nociceptive modulation and molecular mechanisms in neurodegeneration. I hold a Master's degree in Pharmacology from UFMG and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from FAMINAS-BH. I have experience with experimental models of neurodegenerative diseases, behavioral assays, biochemistry, histology, and pharmacology of natural and synthetic compounds.
