I am a pharmacist and currently a Master’s student in Pharmaceutical Engineering at Ghent University. I completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy at Al-Azhar University – Gaza, graduating with an Honor Degree and ranking second in the Faculty of Pharmacy. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing and process understanding. As a Teaching Assistant in laboratory courses, I supported students during practical sessions, helping them apply experimental procedures correctly and interpret results, which strengthened my attention to detail and appreciation for reproducible scientific work. I have also participated in international academic initiatives and conferences through pharmaceutical student organizations, gaining broader exposure to research discussions in pharmaceutical sciences. My Master’s thesis focuses on evaluating twin-screw melt granulation for the development of high-dose amorphous solid dispersion tablet formulations. Through this work, I am developing a deeper understanding of continuous manufacturing processes and formulation design. I aim to further develop my research skills in pharmaceutical process engineering, with a focus on improving process robustness and product performance through stronger mechanistic understanding of manufacturing systems.
